Amal Clooney
Amal Alamuddin was born Beirut. She was given the Arabic name'ml amal, which translates to "hope". Her family fled Lebanon when she was two, at the time of civil conflict in Lebanon which led them to move to Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze who comes from Baakline, a village in the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din dynasty. He received an MBA at the American University of Beirut. He returned to Lebanon in the year 1991, following the close of the civil conflict. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was an international editorialist and political reporter for the Saudi-owned al-Hayat newspaper. She was also the creator of International Communication Experts. The company, part of another more extensive business, specialises in booking celebrity guests photographer, publicity, advertising for events, and more. [17] Amal has three brothers One sister (Tala) in addition to two half-brothers from her father's marriage to his first wife. 18. Amal went to Dr Challoner's high school, which is a grammar school for girls situated within Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, prior to going to university. After that, she studied at St Hugh's College, Oxford and was awarded an exhibit grant as well as the Shrigley Award. [19][20] In 2000, she graduated from St Hugh's College in Oxford, with the Master of Arts degree (BA) in Jurisprudence. In the following year she began her studies at New York University School of Law for graduation with a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M). She received the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award for excellence in entertainment law.While at NYU she interned for a semester in the office of Sonia Sotomayor, then a judge in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and NYU Law faculty members.
