KingBennett signed with Durk's Only the Family record label after his collaborations. After adopting the stage name of King Von in order to make his music debut and debut track "Crazy Story," was released in the month of December 2018. It made it to number 81 of the Billboard Hot 100 and 32 on the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Charts for Songs. It also garnered millions of YouTube views. Von dropped a follow-up song, "Crazy Story 2.0," in May of this year. The sequelthat features Lil Durk is a remix to the original. Another remix/sequel, "Crazy Story 3.0," is out in September.
