Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actress, producer and director. The actress is best known for her starring role in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her birthplace was in an upper middle-class family living in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. Her mom was a film buff and inculcated a love for films in the young girl too. Paula was active in the co-curricular activities of her school and particularly awed by dramatics. She loved to play act alongside her peers and was a participant in her school's stage productions. After starring in numerous shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her occupation. She enrolled at The University of Southern California in the summer program, and was awed by her experience. The program was a PBS three-month project to film documentary films. The first assignment was to be production assistant for television documentaries after successfully completing her project. Then she moved on to producing documentaries. While she was awed by the work she was doing, she yearned for acting roles. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a small part alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she's appeared in many productions and films.
